We are a freight forwarder with complete solutions for your international transportation needs, from Air, Rail, Ground to Ocean Freight. We offer door to door insurance for your shipments against all risks.
Customs Clearance
Your shipments will be cleared through customs before vessel arrival and seamlessly avoiding extra costs such as demurrage. We know exactly how to classify each type of stone to guarantee the lowest duty for our customers.
Transloading
Our brand new SARD D150 + 10 ton overhead cranes is the best set of equipment for unloading heavy slab bundles from 20ft closed top containers. Our team is very experienced in handling your beautiful stones, without scratches, in the safest way possible.
Warehousing
Either for temporary storage or long term (in case of keeping inventory with us), we have the perfect solution for your storage needs with 32,000 sq.ft. of warehouse fully equipped with our own design of super heavy duty pin racks.
Ground Freight
With our own fleet of 20 trucks, or using subcontracted fully insured truckers, we are able to load your stone bundles on stepdecks and flatbeds using our own inventory of A-Frames. From Houston we distribute stone slabs to customers all over the Midwest.
ABOUT
Apollo Logistics is a dream of ours, envisioned by Marcus Kadur working mainly as a freight forwarder in Brazil (Apollo Logística) and delivering containers to customer´s doors.
Our dream was to be able to help the stone importer in the USA by offering a warehouse close to the ports as a “distribution center” included in our logistics service package that already included Ocean Freight + Customs Clearance + Cargo Insurance + Local Drayage (Delivery).
Apollo Systems International is operating exactly as we planned, using the very best type of equipment, very close to the port of Houston (Soon we will offer a terminal in Los Angeles, CA and Norfolk, VA), legally accepting containers fully loaded with up to 27.5 metric tons of stones (=60,600 Lbs), thus reducing the per Square Foot total cost of logistics for any type of material being imported.
We also make it possible for smaller importers that don't have the proper equipment to unload containers to start importing their own containers. We value the existence of these smaller family owned businesses and will support them in any way possible.
